together, we can build a Brighter Future for Minnesota.

I’m running for Minnesota Senate District 33 because I share the same hopes and values that matter to our community—great schools where our children feel safe and can learn and thrive, the creation of new jobs to better our economy, affordable healthcare that’s there when it’s needed, water free from PFAS, safe neighborhoods where we can raise our families and live our lives without worry, and a fiscally responsible government free from wasteful spending. I’m running to build a brighter future—and I’m running to win in November 2026.

How did i get here?

As the son of doctors who practiced geriatric and pediatric medicine, I learned early on about the challenges people face in accessing care. I also saw the fraud, waste, and abuse the healthcare system creates, perhaps most notably for our elderly neighbors. I didn’t go into medicine, but chose to attend law school at William Mitchell after graduating from the University of Minnesota. As an attorney, I have honed my skills in analyzing policies and statutes, creative problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation. I have committed my legal career to combating fraud nationwide in order to ensure that Americans receive the best possible patient care.

In my younger years, I was an interior/exterior painter for my step-father’s small business starting at age 13 and continuing through high-school and college. I attribute my strong work ethic to those years—ensuring the job gets done, no matter what challenges arise.

As the eldest child of a blended family, I have siblings who serve in the Coast Guard, and as teachers, healthcare providers, and environmental scientists. Their experiences give me a deep appreciation for public service, the value of education, the importance of accessible healthcare, and the urgent need to protect our natural resources. Seeing their dedication has shaped my values: to stand up for those who serve, to invest in our children’s future, to make healthcare a right and not a privilege, and to protect the land and water that define our state. Their work inspires me to lead with integrity and keep people, not politics, at the center of decision-making. It’s those perspectives that shape my commitment to addressing the challenges facing Minnesotans in a thoughtful and balanced way.

Committed to my community.

As I continued to see political breakdowns and stalemates routinely unfolding in our legislature, I began looking for ways to become more involved in my local community.

I joined the Washington County Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee and the City of Stillwater Human Rights Commission and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.

These roles have deepened my understanding of our community and how to drive meaningful change.

District 33 is home.

I grew up in Saint Paul, attended Saint Thomas Academy high school, and lived for many years in NE Minneapolis after graduating from the U of M. But I’ve always had ties to the St. Croix Valley area—growing up I rode horses in Hugo and my family enjoyed and appreciated time spent in downtown Stillwater, Franconia Sculpture Garden, and Taylors Falls.

Today, I live in Stillwater with my wife and recently adopted pup Aspen, who loves to hike at William O’Brien State Park. I love to run and bike on the Gateway and Brown’s Creek trails, and have used them to train for several marathons! I’ve picked up horseback riding again, and in 2024, began my journey as a bee keeper, working with my wife and family, supporting the vital role bees play in our environment—and enjoying some honey along the way! This area is special, and my family and I are thankful to call it home.

Please join me. Together we can get to work to deliver meaningful results for our neighbors, and build a brighter future for Minnesota.
