STILLWATER, MN — Today, the final candidate fundraising reports before the November 3rd General Election were released, and Senate District 33 DFL candidate Nat Smith has once again outraised his opponent, incumbent Senator Karin Housley.
Across all contributions, Smith has raised a total of $183,647.72 to Housley’s $103,723.12, a nearly $80,000 difference with just one week left before Election Day.
The fundraising advantage reflects the growing momentum behind Smith’s grassroots campaign in a competitive district encompassing Stillwater, Forest Lake, Hugo, Scandia, and surrounding communities.
“I am honored and grateful for every contribution our campaign has received over the past year,” said Smith. “Outraising an incumbent is a clear sign that our message is resonating with voters who are ready for a fresh and independent voice for our community in the Senate. We’ve been building momentum over the course of this campaign and look forward to Election Day on November 3.”
