Stillwater, MN. — This week, Nat Smith worked with Senator Ron Latz to introduce updates to Minnesota law that would add protections for whistleblowers and make it easier to combat fraud in Minnesota.
In response, DFL Senate Candidate (SD-33) Nat Smith said, “Over a year ago, I saw a need in Minnesota law and knew we needed to make it easier to combat fraud. So, I got to work with key partners to address that need. Now, I’m proud that work has been introduced by Sen. Latz at the Capitol! Together we’re adding protections for whistleblowers when they report fraud and broadening the scope of fraud we can combat.
“I’ve dedicated my career to combating fraud and I’m glad we’re making progress on this key issue. I am eager to get this done for Minnesota, and I look forward to continuing to fight for the people of our state.”
